By accessing and using LocalDanceSchools ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LocalDanceSchools is a directory of dance schools and studios. We aggregate publicly available information about dance schools from various sources to help users find and compare dance schools by location, style, and rating.
3. School Listings
- School information is aggregated from public sources and may not be fully up to date. Schedules, pricing, and class offerings may have changed since the data was last collected.
- LocalDanceSchools does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the quality of any listed school or instructor.
- Ratings and reviews reflect user opinions and publicly available data, not LocalDanceSchools' assessment.
- If you are a school owner and wish to update or remove your listing, please contact us.
4. User-Submitted Reviews
By submitting a review, you agree that:
- Your review is truthful and based on your genuine experience
- You are not affiliated with the school being reviewed (unless disclosed)
- We may moderate, edit, or remove reviews at our discretion
- Your review may be displayed publicly on the site (excluding your email)
- You grant LocalDanceSchools a perpetual, non-exclusive license to display your review
5. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the Service for commercial purposes
- Submit fake, misleading, or defamatory reviews
- Attempt to manipulate school ratings or rankings
- Use the Service to harass schools or individuals
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any school information, ratings, or reviews displayed on the site. Class schedules, pricing, and instructor availability may differ from what is shown.
7. Limitation of Liability
LocalDanceSchools shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, reliance on school information, or interactions with listed schools.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
10. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim in court, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at legal@localdanceschools.com. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of contact, either party may bring a formal claim. For claims under $10,000, you may choose whether to proceed in court or through binding arbitration under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules.
